As a volunteer with the No Smoking Jordan, I contributed to awareness and research efforts aimed at addressing the impact of tobacco use on society, particularly among young people. My work involved studying the tobacco market, analyzing marketing strategies used by tobacco companies, and examining how these practices can influence consumers, especially school-aged children and youth.
Through this experience, I gained valuable insights into public health advocacy, market research, data collection, and community engagement. Working alongside dedicated professionals and volunteers strengthened my understanding of the social and economic challenges associated with tobacco consumption and reinforced the importance of evidence-based awareness campaigns.
In recognition of my contribution to the initiative, I was honored to receive a certificate of appreciation from Her Royal Highness Princess Dina Mired of Jordan. This recognition reflects my commitment to community service, youth empowerment, and promoting healthier environments for future generations.
This volunteering experience enhanced my research, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills while allowing me to contribute to a meaningful national cause.
